The Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life (ISJL) proudly presents Mark Twain's The Diaries of Adam and Eve, edited and adapted for the stage by David Birney. This timeless tale of the first family offers sparkling Mark Twain wit and wisdom in a unique staging, with classic characters brought to dazzling life.
The performance will be followed by refreshments and optional tours of historic Temple B'nai Israel. All proceeds benefit the Temple B'nai Israel Restoration and Preservation Fund. Tickets are available online at Brown Paper Tickets and in person at the Natchez Visitor Center. The production marks the unveiling of a bust of Mark Twain donated to the Historic Natchez Foundation by StudioEIS, the nation's most prominent historical sculpture studio. StudioEIS created the original statue for the city of Liberty, Missouri, and the sculpture comes to us through the generosity of the City of Liberty and the founder of StudioEIS, Ivan Schwartz. |
